Do you accept insurance? No.  I am an "out of network" provider. Fee for services is $150 per 1 hour session. Payment will be rendered upon time of service (you can utilize a credit card, check, health saving card). I can provide you a “superbill” which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. 

What is a "Superbill": A “superbill” is a form I will complete and provide you allowing patients to be reimbursed directly from their health insurance companies. A superbill does not guarantee that an insurance provider will pay for the services provided. 

How long is a session? Typically, sessions last approximately 53 minutes to 1 hour. If you would like to extend the session, we can discuss these conditions before session.

What should I expect on the first visit? Once we have talked on the phone and scheduled an initial appointment, I will send you an invitation to my client portal. This invitation will prompt you to complete online forms so we can hit the ground running for our first session. During the first session we will review all forms you filled out and address any questions you have.  The first session is dedicated to developing rapport, identifying areas of concern, and establish therapeutic goals. 

Do you prescribe medication? No. I do have a list of trusted providers that I would recommend though (i.e. primary care physicains, psychiatrists, and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners). 

Is everything I say confidential? All members of the American Counseling Association (ACA) subscribe to the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice which require counselors to protect the confidentiality of their communications with clients. As a client, you are guaranteed the protection of confidentiality within the boundaries of the client/counselor relationship.  The law in the State of Kentucky provides exceptions to confidentiality, but even in these circumstances you will be informed before confidential information is revealed whenever possible.
